How it works

Three ways in. One way out.

Your customers ask wherever suits them. Every question lands in the same inbox, so nothing slips between your email, your site and your community.

On your site

The widget

A little launcher in the corner of every page. Customers search your answers, write to you, and pick up past conversations — without leaving your site.

  • One line of code, any website
  • Your colour, your words, either corner
  • Runs only on the sites you name

At supportdist.com/h/you

Your help center

A page of your own: quick answers to the questions you hear most, a contact form, and your community — ready the moment you name your desk.

  • Quick answers customers can search
  • A contact form with your topics
  • No account needed to ask

In public

Your community

Customers ask in the open and help each other; your team answers once, for everyone. You moderate as much as you want.

  • Mark the answer, pin, lock
  • Approve first posts — or all, or none
  • Turn a question into a private ticket

For your team

One inbox. Every desk, every teammate.

Run one help desk or ten from the same place. Each ticket has a lamp that tells you where it stands, an owner, a priority, and notes only your team sees. Customers get your replies by email, and reply from their link.

  1. Needs reply

A customer wrote — new, or again. It's your turn.

  2. Waiting on customer

You replied; the ball is in their court.

  3. Solved

Done. If they write back, it lights up again.

One line

Plug it into your site.

Paste this before </body> and the launcher appears in the corner — in your colour, saying what you want it to. Prefer a contact form in the middle of a page? There's a line for that too.

Every widget and option

The details

Small-team simple. Big-team ready.

A team on every desk

Invite teammates as agents or admins. Assign tickets, and take a desk's email off when it's not yours to answer.

Internal notes

Talk it over on the ticket itself. Notes never reach the customer, their email or their view.

Email both ways

Your team hears about new tickets; your customers get your replies — with a private link to answer from.

Premium

Saved replies

Write the answers you give every week once, and drop them in with the customer's name filled in.

Premium

Satisfaction ratings

When a ticket is solved, customers can tell you how it went — and you see the score on your inbox.

Premium

Your data, exported

Every ticket as a spreadsheet, whenever you like. Delete a customer — and everything they sent — in one click.

Pricing

Questions, answered

Do my customers need an account?

No. They write to you from your help center or the widget with their name and email address, and follow the conversation from a private link we email them. Nobody signs up to ask you something.

Where does my help center live?

At supportdist.com/h/your-name — your name, your colour, your quick answers, your community and a contact form. Link to it from your site, or put the widget on every page instead.

How do I put the widget on my site?

Paste one line before </body>. It works with any site — a shop, a WordPress blog, an app — and you can list the sites allowed to show it, so nobody else can. The widget guide has every option.

Is the community moderated?

As much as you like: by default the first post from each email address waits for your approval, and you can have every post wait, or none. Pin, lock, mark the answer, or turn a public question into a private ticket.

How do my teammates join?

Invite them by email from the desk's Team page. They sign in — or make a free account — with that address, and they're on. On Free a desk has room for two people; on Premium, twenty-five.

What do you do with my customers' messages?

Keep them for you, and nothing else: no ads, no trackers, no selling, no training anything on them. You can delete a ticket, erase a customer, or delete a whole desk, and it's gone. The privacy policy and the data processing terms say exactly how.
